Exciting Plans Announced for "Challenge" Restoration
3rd May 2021

The new owner of "Challenge" (Chris Bannister) since taking it over last year has been busy working on board with his growing dedicated team of Volunteers who have spent hours Needle Scaling the Main Deck paintwork bringing it back to a high standard.
A bulk fuel delivery of 30tons was recently made and this weekend new Tyre Fenders were fitted.
Below Decks in the Engine Room Chris and his Team have started to remove the main Pistons for refurbishment and other essential maintenance works.
Other future plans will be the construction of a new Wheelhouse.
It is Chris ambition to make "Challenge" open to everyone for getting involved and always welcomes any offer of assistance and Donations how ever small going towards the cost of the restoration is appreciated and can be made here.
